A reliable insider has just posted some intriguing and dismissive Chelsea updates regarding an area that is highly spoken about.

All the talk right now is about transfers and what is going on around the club in these final four weeks of the summer transfer window.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea’s plans for the rest of THIS window REVEALED with more new signings targeted AFTER Hato, Simons, & Garnacho!!

Chelsea are signing one of Ajax’s most important and technically gifted players in the form of Jorrel Hato, according to a report that came out yesterday.

And we finally had the ‘here we go’ agreed deal for that one that came in yesterday evening, showing that Chelsea will soon be announcing the new arrival of Hato to the club.

So there is plenty going on right now and it has been easy to forget that Chelsea still do not have a Front of Shirt Sponsors going into the new season after not having one last season.

They did have DAMAC

DAMAC came in for a bit to be front of shirt sponsors at the end of the season for Chelsea, which would have helped out quite a bit and at least made the shirts look good.

Although many will say that playing without a front of shirt sponsors make the shirts look much better anyway, and I am inclined to agree with them.

What the deal was worth

Reliable insider for sponsorship news, Lukasz Baczek has just posted on X.

He says regarding Chelsea and DAMAC:

“Contrary to reports in recent podcasts, the short-term FOS sponsorship deal with DAMAC was worth around £6m-£7m last season. This meant revenue of £1m per match, rather than the £6m/€6m per individual match mentioned in the podcast. The club’s income would then be ~£40m.”
