The midfielder has announced her retirement from the game, having spent the final seven years of her playing career in Manchester.
She sits eighth in our all-time appearance charts on 147, while her 27 strikes also places her in the top ten for goals in our professional era.
Coombs has spent the majority of her career at City but also enjoyed spells at Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool prior to joining the Blues in 2019, via loan spells at Nottingham Forest, Los Angeles Strikers and Barnet.
She’s also experienced some memorable moments on the international scene, including helping England reach the 2023 World Cup final in Australia.
A hugely popular and respected member of the City squad, she’ll rightly be remembered as a firm favourite among our supporters.
