Ten teams play in the second phase of the Copa do Brasil this Thursday (05)

Another edition of the Copa do Brasil is in full swing. This Thursday (05), five matches will conclude the second phase of the national knockout tournament. The games are single-elimination, with penalties in case of a draw.

4 PM – Trem-AP vs. Fluminense-PI – no broadcast
7 PM – Desportiva Ferroviária-ES vs. Sport – Premiere, SporTV, and GE TV
7 PM – Portuguesa-RJ vs. Maracanã-CE – no broadcast
9:30 PM – Juventude vs. Guaporé-RO – Premiere, SporTV
9:30 PM – Santa Cruz vs. Sousa-PB – Amazon Prime *All in Brasília time

So far, 39 teams have already secured spots in the third phase. It is worth noting that the prize for advancing to the next stage is R$ 1.53 million for Serie B clubs and R$ 950,000 for teams from other divisions.

WHEN DOES FLAMENGO DEBUT IN THE COPA DO BRASIL?

With a spot secured in the Copa do Brasil after winning the Brasileirão 2025, Flamengo will start their journey in the competition in the fifth phase. Thus, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) plans to hold this stage of the tournament in April: the 22nd (first leg) and 13th (return).
