Copa do Brasil quarter-final line-up confirmed, draw on 11 August | OneFootball

Internacional and Vitória claimed the final berths for the 2026 Copa do Brasil quarter-finals on Thursday, joining Atlético-MG, Cruzeiro, Grêmio, Palmeiras, Santos and Vasco among the last eight. According to Globo.com, the knockout competition began with 126 clubs.

Vitória beat Athletico 4-2 on aggregate, Internacional edged Corinthians 3-2, Vasco saw off Fluminense 3-1 and Grêmio beat Mirassol 2-1. Atlético-MG defeated Juventude 1-0, Santos overcame Remo 1-0, Cruzeiro saw off Chapecoense 2-0 and Palmeiras beat Fortaleza 5-3.

The quarter-final draw will take place at 11:00 Brasília time on Tuesday 11 August at CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, deciding home advantage and the bracket through to the final.

There are no restrictions in the draw, any side can face any of the other seven. From this stage the competition will use semi-automatic offside, which was absent in the last 16 because not all stadia were equipped.

First legs are scheduled for 26 August, with the return games the following week. The semi-finals are set for 1 and 13 November, with a single-match final on 6 December.

Reaching the quarter-finals is worth R$ 4 million. All eight clubs entered in the fifth phase and have accrued R$ 9 million so far, with another R$ 9 million available to semi-finalists. The runners-up will receive R$ 34 million and the champions R$ 78 million.
