Udinese welcomed in the 2024/25 season with a 4-0 thrashing of Avellino in the Coppa Italia, reaching the round of 32.
The Zebrette had various chances through Brenner and Hassane Kamara in the searing heat before opening the scoring just before the break. It was Brenner who made the breakthrough, combining with Florian Thauvin and firing home.
Udinese wasted no time in doubling their lead after the half time interval, with Thauvin slotting home a penalty.
A third was added by Lorenzo Lucca, Thauvin once again the provider.
It was then Keinan Davis’ turn to get on the scoresheet, finishing off a lovely pass by Lazar Samardzic.
A perfect start to the campaign!
