Coppola ‘to undergo’ Paris FC medical after Brighton permission

Diego Coppola is on the verge of joining Paris FC, with Brighton permitting the Italian defender to take a medical before a permanent move.

Gazzetta suggests Brighton have allowed the 22-year-old to travel to France, with tests expected in the coming hours.

The former Hellas Verona centre-back joined Brighton last summer but has struggled for minutes in the first half of the campaign.

He has made nine appearances in all competitions, totalling 542 minutes, and has recorded two assists.

Fiorentina had been linked with bringing him back to Serie A, though a switch to Paris FC now appears advanced.

Coppola made his senior Italy debut in June 2025, a few weeks before joining Brighton, and has two caps.
