Valencia claimed three vital points at the Ciutat de València, defeating Levante in the city derby. Goals from Ramazani and Umar Sadiq moved Corberán’s side out of the relegation places.

According to Superdeporte, the squad have been given two days off to recharge before preparations for Villarreal begin. It follows a congested start to the year shaped by Copa del Rey commitments.

The win ends a run of three consecutive defeats and eases pressure on the head coach, who changed the game from the bench. The table remains tight, with Mallorca two points behind marking the cut-off. A new slump could quickly drag them back towards danger.

Valencia return to work on Wednesday at Paterna, then focus on the regional derby at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The match is scheduled for Sunday 22 January at 21:00.

It is another away assignment before meetings with Osasuna and Deportivo Alavés, the latter currently level on points. The schedule then brings successive trips to Oviedo and Sevilla, before a late March international break.
