Cori denies Osmar Stabile attended meeting, says no SAF request was received | OneFootball

Corinthians’ advisory council, Cori, said in a statement on Tuesday that it had received no formal request to examine a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol proposal and that president Osmar Stabile did not attend Monday’s meeting.

The session the day before refused to consider a new statutory reform proposal sent by the Deliberative Council and decided to suspend former president Roberto de Andrade from his duties on the body until the end of the year.

Cori added that proceedings were conducted in absolute normality, in line with the published agenda, and that the club’s executive leadership had been notified of the meeting.

With the subject not discussed on Monday, the non-binding SAFiel memorandum still has no timetable for internal review, which, in the club’s management’s view, prevents the president from signing it.
