Corinthians have renewed their Neo Química Arena parking management deal with Indigo for 12 years, the club said in a statement. The agreement includes a 35% share of the site’s net monthly revenue for the club and Indigo funding about 2,000 additional seats in the Leste Superior, subject to safety approvals.
The new seating would be permanent, unlike structures used during the 2014 World Cup and NFL games. Stadium capacity is slated to rise to 51,000 from 48,905.
The deal also wipes out an estimated R$ 2.5 million owed by the club to the company. From 2030, Indigo is to pay around R$ 13 million for the right to use the space. President Osmar Stabile framed the partnership as strategic, aimed at strengthening the arena’s finances and driving modernisation, with expansion projects and approvals already in train.
In 2025, the parking operation was repeatedly debated under then president Augusto Melo, with the club exploring a new model amid low profitability and disagreements over any break fee. Alternatives were assessed, including advanced talks with MultiPark in May last year, but no change was enacted and discussions continued with Indigo.
Indigo has run the car park since 2018 under a deal signed in Andrés Sanchez’s presidency, when Corinthians received R$ 11.4 million, of which R$ 2.5 million went to Omni and R$ 8.9 million to the arena fund. The contract barred removal for 120 months and set an early break fee later estimated at R$ 12,630,915, while exempting rent if annual net revenue was at or below R$ 4.888 million, a structure that drew criticism in 2025.
