Corinthians have released Jesse Lingard after Tuesday's session to travel to England for his grandfather's funeral. His grandfather died two weeks ago. The attacking midfielder is due back at CT Joaquim Grava on Saturday.

The club said in a statement that Fernando Diniz led a morning workout that opened with attack against defence, plus penetration and finishing drills.

Players then worked on pressing immediately after losing possession, alongside transition play and defensive balance.

In the afternoon, the squad carried out strength work in the gym.

The team return to CT Joaquim Grava on Wednesday morning for another day of activities across two periods.
