Corinthians and André Luiz have been charged by the STJD over incidents in the 1-0 win against Vasco da Gama at Neo Química Arena.
According to Meu Timao, the hearing is set for 11:00 on 30 April in Rio de Janeiro, with George Suetonio Ramalho Júnior as rapporteur.
André Luiz will be tried for a challenge on Thiago Mendes that led to a first half red card. He is charged under article 254, items I and II, of the CBJD for violent play, with a possible ban of one to six matches.
Corinthians face four complaints, covering a delayed kick-off under article 206 and the message "Itaquera virou baile" on the big screen under article 191, deemed provocative and punishable by a fine ranging from R$ 100 to R$ 100,000.
They were also cited after a West Stand supporter was seen spitting towards the officials as they left the pitch, and for a lack of balls on the goal supports at Kauê’s end in the second half, both liable to financial sanction under the CBJD.
Vasco were reported for delaying the start. Thiago Mendes must answer for mixed zone remarks criticising referee Davi de Oliveira Lacerda, being charged under article 258 for conduct contrary to sporting discipline or ethics, with a possible suspension of up to six games. The document also cites similar cases involving Hugo Souza of Corinthians and Jorge Carrascal of Flamengo, with Hugo Souza suspended for one game and missing the meeting with Vasco.
