Corinthians and Esportes da Sorte sign Brazil’s 2nd biggest deal

Corinthians and Esportes da Sorte have renewed their main sponsorship in an agreement valid until December 2029. The contract provides for a base investment of R$ 150 million per year, including an expansion of the package of properties, activations, and institutional deliverables, totaling R$ 600 million over the next four seasons. Performance mechanisms stipulated in the agreement may further raise the annual value to over R$ 200 million if the established targets are met.

The contract keeps the brand on the match kit and training shirts of the Corinthians men's team, and also includes activations in digital and physical environments, experiences with fans, institutional actions, and support for sports and social projects linked to the club's calendar. In volleyball, futsal, women's football, and basketball, the company also remains, but has made itself available to give up the main spaces if Timão receives more advantageous proposals.

Negotiations for the renewal between Corinthians and Esportes da Sorte have been ongoing since the middle of last season. The financial terms, however, were aligned by the end of the year. The agreement was even put on stand-by when the club received a proposal to launch its own sports betting house.

“Renewing with Corinthians until 2029 reaffirms our confidence in an institution that represents, like few others, the diversity of Brazilians and the passion for football. It is a strategic partnership for Esportes da Sorte, which strengthens our connection with the fans and expands the possibilities for brand building through experiences, innovation, and more complete deliverables. We move forward together with responsibility and a long-term vision,” said Darwin Filho, CEO of Grupo Esportes Gaming Brasil, owner of the Esportes da Sorte brand.

“This renewal reflects the partnership model we seek to develop, with a long-term vision, consistent deliverables, and value generation for both sides. Over the last cycle, the partnership contributed to a year of strong sporting performance for the club, with significant achievements in men's and women's football. In this new cycle, the partnership is definitively consolidated as a successful case of main sponsorship in Brazilian football,” highlighted Marcela Campos, vice president of the group.

The new agreement between the parties represents a 46% increase over the previous contract, which provided for R$ 103 million annually. In that deal, part of the resources was allocated to marketing campaigns and the signing of a high-profile player, funds that, at the time, were used for the signing of Memphis Depay.

The contract now allows Corinthians to use the resources from the partnership as it wishes. With the renewal, the sponsorship becomes the second largest in Brazilian football, behind only Flamengo, which signed a deal with Betano worth around R$ 268 million.

Since the beginning of the partnership in 2024, Esportes da Sorte and Corinthians have implemented several actions focused on brand activation and fan engagement, including initiatives during matches, hospitality programs, social media campaigns, and activities on the pitch. The sponsorship also supported the club's sports and institutional projects, such as the Doe Arena Corinthians campaign, which raised over R$ 40 million.
