Corinthians at full strength to face Vasco in Copa do Brasil final

For this Sunday’s (21st) decisive match, at 6pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã, against Vasco, for the second leg of the Copa do Brasil final, coach Dorival Júnior has almost his entire squad available. After the goalless draw in the first leg at Neo Química Arena, Corinthians needs a win to claim their fourth national tournament title.

The only absence in the Alvinegro squad is midfielder Charles, who traveled with the team to Rio de Janeiro, but was left out of the match due to physical issues, as previously reported by Central do Timão.

Timão reaches the final after eliminating Novorizontino, Palmeiras, Athletico, and Cruzeiro throughout the competition. So far, the team has played nine matches in the Copa do Brasil, with seven wins and one loss, as well as ten goals scored and only two conceded.

Given this, coach Dorival Júnior has chosen the following lineup to start the match: Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Raniele, José Martínez, Maycon, Breno Bidon, Memphis, and Yuri Alberto.

The bench options are: Felipe Longo, Rodrigo Garro, Romero, Carrillo, Cacá, Angileri, Vitinho, Ryan, João Pedro, André, Gui Negão, and Dieguinho.

If the match ends in another draw in regular time, the title will be decided by a penalty shootout.
