Corinthians back in training, set to face Red Bull Bragantino

One day after defeating Grêmio at Neo Química Arena and confirming their good form in the Brazilian Championship, the Corinthians squad returned to CT Joaquim Grava on the afternoon of this Monday (3rd) to begin preparations for their next fixture in the competition: Red Bull Bragantino, in an away match valid for the 32nd round.

At the start of training, the athletes were divided into two groups. Those who played more than 45 minutes in the 2-0 victory over the team from Rio Grande do Sul this Sunday (2nd) performed only a regenerative activity inside the training center. The rest of the players, however, went out to the field right after a strength training session in the gym.

On the pitch, under the guidance of coach Dorival Júnior, this group participated in a possession drill, finishing the training session with a ten-on-ten small-sided game. It's worth noting that the squad will have one more training session before the match against the team from Bragança Paulista, which takes place this Wednesday (5th).

Timão reached 42 points in the Brazilian Championship, remaining in tenth place on the league table and getting closer to the teams fighting for a spot in the 2026 Copa Libertadores. If they secure another victory this Wednesday, they could finish the next round as high as eighth place, depending on other results.
