Corinthians banking on home unbeaten run to reach Copa do Brasil final

Corinthians hosts Cruzeiro late this Sunday afternoon (14th), at 6 PM (Brasília time), at Neo Química Arena, for the second leg of the 2025 Copa do Brasil semifinals. Seeking to return to the competition's final after three years, Timão relies on an encouraging home record.

Corinthians hasn't lost a Copa do Brasil match at home since 2021. On June 2nd of that year, the Alvinegro Paulista was defeated by Atlético-GO 2-0 in the first leg of the tournament's third phase. The team was eliminated after a 0-0 draw in the return match.

Since then, Corinthians has played 16 home matches, achieving 13 wins and three draws during this period, totaling an 87.5% success rate. Additionally, the team scored 31 goals in these encounters and conceded only six.

In the current edition of the Copa do Brasil, the Alvinegro Paulista won all the matches played at home. The team defeated Grêmio Novorizontino 1-0, Palmeiras 1-0, and Athletico-PR 2-0.
