Meu Timao points out that in three of those title-winning runs, Corinthians faced Vasco, in the 1995 semi-final, the 2009 semi-final and the 2025 final.

That Grêmio side would go on to win the Libertadores and finish world runners-up on penalties to Ajax.

The victory stands as one of Corinthians' four Copa do Brasil titles.
