Meu Timao reports that Corinthians resumed training on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s clássico with Santos at Canindé, set for 16:00 in round 15 of the Brasileirão Feminino.
After days off following Monday’s 1-0 away win over Flamengo, the squad started with a gym activation, then moved into warm-ups overseen by fitness coaches Yuri Fraga and Liliane Cruz.
Head coach Emily Lima led possession, support and finishing drills. The group have two more days to prepare before facing Santos.
Midfielder Dayana Rodríguez is suspended after her dismissal against Flamengo. Forward Jaqueline returns having served a two-match ban in the national tournament.
There are fitness doubts. Goalkeepers Lelê, in physical transition and involved with the other keepers, and Rillary, who had an elbow injection, were both absent in Rio de Janeiro. Midfielder Ana Vitória, with muscle discomfort, and Letícia Monteiro, transitioning after adductor discomfort, also did not travel on Monday.
Corinthians top the Brasileirão Feminino on 34 points, two clear of São Paulo, and have already secured home advantage for the quarter-finals.
