Corinthians have begun removing seats in the South Stand at Neo Química Arena, part of a restructuring project to improve the matchday experience and increase capacity.
According to Meu Timao, the work will be carried out in stages and should be completed before the start of the next season.

The club hopes the changes will lift the atmosphere among supporters and help draw bigger crowds to home matches.
Alongside the South Stand changes, Corinthians are assessing upgrades to modernise stadium facilities.
They are also considering the creation of new spaces for fans within the ground.
