Corinthians directors are set to meet SAFiel at 17:00 on Wednesday 26 at Parque São Jorge. According to Meu Timao, club president Osmar Stabile will attend with Romeu Tuma Júnior, Miguel Marques and Haroldo Dantas.

It will be their first face-to-face in 2026, following meetings in September and October last year.

The sides last spoke by phone in late July after pressure on Stabile from Gaviões da Fiel. He had told the group the proposal would go to a Cori meeting, which did not happen.

In August the group formed the Comitê de Acompanhamento SAFiel, CAS, to monitor the proposal. With tensions rising, part of the fanbase has backed SAFiel, whose petition has more than 104,000 signatures.

Submitted on 2 June, the plan targets R$ 2.5 billion, potentially R$ 3 billion, to clear football debts, fund sport, upgrade infrastructure, improve governance and bolster the social club.

Fans would have direct influence via investments from R$ 250, capped per CPF. External investors could join through non-voting shares if extra capital is required.

The proposal also protects Timão’s identity, blocking changes to name, symbols, colours and crest. In serious breaches or mismanagement, Corinthians could trigger a clause to retake football control.

Completion would require statutory approvals, independent due diligence, regulatory clearance and a members’ General Assembly. SAFiel outlines a phased timeline, with actions concluding after one year.
