Corinthians have called an Extraordinary General Assembly on 18 April at Parque São Jorge to vote on a draft Statute reform. The convocation is signed by Conselho Deliberativo president Romeu Tuma Júnior, according to Meu Timao.
Voting runs from nine am to five pm. Eligible voters are members over 18, admitted for more than five years, excluding Militantes and Dependentes, and up to date with obligations. The ballot covers the main text and 15 highlighted items with alternative wording.
Two of those items offer three options each, granting Fiel Torcedor voting rights for president and vice-presidents, and reshaping the Conselho Deliberativo with possible cuts to elected and lifetime seats. First, the two change options will be added together, and if they exceed half of all votes, the most popular of them enters the text.
The draft and an explanatory summary will be emailed to members and are also on the club website. If approved, the commission will embed the chosen alternatives and register the document at a notary, after which it will take effect.
Tuma had pledged to call the Assembly after Monday’s CD meeting descended into turmoil following remarks by president Osmar Stabile, prompting accusations and an early end without a vote.
The notice cites article 45 of the current Statute and prior recognition by the CD, granted on one February 2024 and 24 November 2025. It also references a civil inquiry by the São Paulo state prosecutor and says, for transparency, the convocation was sent to the lead prosecutor.
