Corinthians close on Ana Vitória and push to finalise January move for Copa das Campeãs da Fifa

Corinthians are pushing to bring Atlético de Madrid midfielder Ana Vitória in this month for the Copa das Campeãs da Fifa. According to Meu Timao, a deal with the 25-year-old is close to being finalised.
Talks with the Spanish club are being accelerated, as Ana Vitória is under contract until June 2026. The player wants to join at the start of the season with the tournament in mind.
Lucas Piccinato’s squad start preparations on Monday 5 January with two weeks of training in São Paulo. They then travel to London on 20 January and complete their work through to 28 January, when they face Gotham FC in a one-off semi-final at the Gtech Community Stadium, kick-off 9.30 Brasília time.
If the move is completed, it will be her second spell at Parque São Jorge. Between 2017 and 2018 she played 57 matches, scored eight goals, added three assists and won a Brasileiro and a Libertadores. She later featured for Benfica and PSG before joining Atlético de Madrid, and with Brazil won Olympic silver at Paris 2024 and played at the 2023 World Cup.
This season she has 18 appearances for Atlético, 11 in the Spanish league, one in the Copa de la Reina and six in the Champions League. Corinthians have already confirmed two additions for 2025, forward Rhaizza and midfielder Paola Garcia, while forward Belén Aquino awaits official confirmation after agreeing terms.
