Corinthians continued their 2026 mid-season camp on Wednesday with a double session at CT Joaquim Grava. According to Meu Timao, the day combined on-pitch drills with gym work.
The morning began with strength work in the gym, then after the warm-up the players worked on possession before a resisted running and finishing drill from crosses.
Under Fernando Diniz, the staff split the squad into four teams of six for small-sided games focused on duels. Further strength work followed at the end of the day.
In the afternoon, medical head Ricardo Galotti oversaw a preventive anti-doping lecture in the briefing room. It was delivered by Dr Fernando Soléra, an anti-doping specialist with Fifa, Conmebol and the CBF, and Lucas Berardi, a postgraduate lecturer in sports dentistry at USP and Unitalo.
Preparation continues on Thursday morning. Forward Memphis Depay is the only absentee, having stayed with the Netherlands at the World Cup until 29 June when Morocco knocked them out in the round of 32. He did not play in that match and is now on holiday, with no return date set by the club.
Corinthians face FC Cascavel in a friendly on Sunday at 16:00 at Estádio Olímpico Regional in Paraná. Their next competitive game is on 23 July at 19:30, at Neo Química Arena against Remo in Brasileirão round 19, which closes the first half of the season.
