Corinthians completed final preparations on Saturday morning for their trip to Coritiba in the 24th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The match is on Sunday, 23, at 19:30 at Couto Pereira in Curitiba.
According to Meu Timao, the day began with a tactical video in the Sala de Preleção Flexform at CT Joaquim Grava. Players then worked on strength in the gym and a passing-based warm-up before Fernando Diniz led tactical drills on the pitch, finishing with set pieces.
Midfielder Rodrigo Garro is suspended after three yellow cards. Memphis Depay has renewed his work visa and is available again, having supplied an assist against Rosario Central.
After sealing a place in the Libertadores quarter-finals, Diniz may rotate. The probable XI is Hugo Souza, with a back four of Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista or João Pedro Tchoca, Gustavo Henrique and Matheus Bidu. Midfield features Raniele, Allan, Carrillo or Matheus Pereira, and Breno Bidon, with Kaio César partnering Pedro Raul, and Gui Negão an option.
Further absentees are in the medical department, namely André Ramalho, André Luiz, Kayke, Vitinho, Yuri Alberto and Zakaria Labyad. Jesse Lingard, absent on Thursday with an ankle sprain, trained with the group.
Corinthians are ninth in the league on 32 points, just ahead of the Paraná side on 31.
