Corinthians said president Osmar Stabile hosted prosecutor Cassio Conserino of São Paulo’s Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP-SP) at Parque São Jorge to hand over documents for investigations into former presidents, notably Duilio Monteiro Alves and Andrés Sanchez.

Club legal director Pedro Soares and prosecutor Thiago Marim also attended. Conserino outlined the status of proceedings after the meeting.

The board restated its commitment to transparency and legality, and said it will continue to cooperate with MP-SP.

MP-SP had requested an on-site review at Parque São Jorge of documents on alleged misuse of corporate cards by former presidents, a request sent directly to Stabile.

Authorities treat Corinthians as a victim, and the club has joined as an assistant to the prosecution in cases involving Andrés, Duilio and former finance chief Roberto Gavioli.

Earlier this week, a São Paulo court accepted a complaint and made Duilio and Gavioli defendants for alleged embezzlement. It alleges the former president used the club’s corporate card for personal expenses between 2021 and 2023.

Prosecutors sought measures including asset freezes, a ban from club premises, contact restrictions, suspension of membership, travel limits and possible electronic monitoring. Judge Elaine Cristina Pulcineli Vieira Gonçalves denied some, including asset and bank or tax secrecy orders, citing no present risk.

Even so, Duilio was removed from association activities, including his lifetime seat on the Conselho de Orientação do Corinthians, Cori. In October 2025, Andrés was charged over alleged irregular card use between 2018 and 2020, tied to personal spending of about R$ 480,000.
