Corinthians’ council meets at Parque São Jorge on Monday to vote on proposals in a draft statute reform. The decision is the final step before referral to a members’ General Assembly.

According to Meu Timao, the draft was released at the end of October 2025. Gaviões da Fiel had already staged protests and tabled proposals in 2024, while Coletivo Voz Corinthiana has pushed for more say for non-member supporters.

The Statute Reform Commission is led by Dalton Gioia with secretary Claudia Carlos de Oliveira, plus councillors Corinto Baldoino Parreira e Costa, Edson Aparecido Geanelli and Gerson Leme, all appointed by council president Romeu Tuma Júnior.

A vote scheduled for 24 October 2025 was postponed after councillors said they had not seen the documents and lacked mastery of the content. Eleven themed meetings followed between late 2025 and early 2026.

Monday’s session is called for 18:00. If a quorum of half plus one is present, debate begins immediately, otherwise a 19:00 second call allows proceedings with any attendance.

Romeu Tuma Júnior said votes for and against will be disclosed to supporters, with transparent handling and individual records, even in any acclamation votes.

After deliberation, the commission will incorporate approved changes before sending a consolidated version to a General Assembly expected in early April.

Members will vote yes or no on each section. Only those over 18, with more than five years of membership and fees paid up may take part. Approved changes take immediate effect at Corinthians.
