Corinthians discover Copinha 2026 Group 8 fixtures and rivals

Corinthians already knows the path it will have to take in the first phase of the 2026 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, the main youth tournament in the country. On the afternoon of this Saturday (13), the Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) released the group stage schedule, placing Timão in Group 8, based in Jaú. In the initial stage of the competition, the alvinegra team will face Trindade-GO, Luverdense, and XV de Jaú.

The alvinegra debut will take place on Saturday, January 3rd, at 2:45 pm (Brasília time), against Trindade from Goiás. Timão’s second match is scheduled for Tuesday, January 6th, at 7:30 pm, when they face Luverdense. The match will be part of the group’s doubleheader and will be Corinthians’ penultimate game in the qualifying phase.

To close out their participation in the first phase, Corinthians will return to the field on Friday, January 9th, at 6:15 pm (Brasília time), to face XV de Jaú.

Corinthians’ matches in Group 8 of the 2026 Copinha will be broadcast on the X Sports and CazéTV channels, according to the official schedule released. The Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior brings together 128 youth teams from across the country, divided into 32 groups, and the top two from each group advance to the knockout stage.

The final is scheduled for January 25th, the anniversary of the city of São Paulo, and will be played at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu. Corinthians is the most successful club in the competition, with 11 titles won.
