Corinthians duo Lelê and Ana Vitória return in 4-1 win over Mirassol | OneFootball

Corinthians welcomed the returns of goalkeeper Lelê and midfielder Ana Vitória during a 4-1 win over Mirassol in the Paulistão Feminino on Wednesday.

According to Meu Timao, the more concerning case had been the keeper, who had not played since the calendar resumed in mid-July after being diagnosed with right hamstring tendinopathy on 27 July.

Ana Vitória had not featured since 26 July, when the Brabas thrashed Vitória 4-0 in the national competition. She missed the last three matches because of gluteal muscle discomfort.

The midfielder was introduced 17 minutes into the second half, replacing Vic Albuquerque. In her first season since returning to Parque São Jorge, the No 88 has 16 appearances, 12 as a starter, and one goal.

The pair helped Corinthians return to winning ways in the State Championship, moving to 10 points in third after six matches. They face Bahia on Saturday 15 at 17:30 at Arena Fonte Nova, in round 16 of the Brasileiro Feminino.
