Corinthians ended the Campeonato Paulista in fourth place and banked R$ 350,000 in final prize money, finishing behind champions Palmeiras, runners-up Grêmio Novorizontino and third-placed São Paulo.
Máquina do Esporte reports that, beyond the podium payouts, the four major São Paulo clubs each received R$ 35 million for participation, roughly R$ 4.3 million per match, a 19.54% rise on last season. These figures are set by the FPF based on broadcast and advertising revenue.
Corinthians reached the quarter-finals in fifth place, drew with Portuguesa in normal time, then advanced on penalties. Their run ended in the semi-finals with a 1-0 defeat to Novorizontino.
Among the four finalists, Corinthians took the smallest payout. The first three positions were worth R$ five million, R$ 1.5 million and R$ 500,000.
Prize money was generally lower than last year, except for the champions’ cheque, which was unchanged. Santos, fourth in 2025, earned R$ 850,000 for that placing.
Corinthians’ approved 2026 budget sets no sporting targets. The club still have the Campeonato Brasileiro, plus the Copa do Brasil and Libertadores, to help reach a R$ 12 million annual surplus.
