Corinthians visit São Paulo at Morumbis on Saturday at 16:30 for the Brasileiro Feminino final second leg, trailing 2-1 after the first meeting at Neo Química Arena. A one-goal win would force penalties, while victory by two or more would clinch an eighth national title.
Meu Timao points out that Corinthians are mindful of their record at Morumbis against their rivals. Across four matches there, they have two wins, one draw and one defeat, with four scored and two conceded.
The first meeting at the ground came on 2 November 2019, the Paulista final first leg, when Corinthians won 1-0 through Giovana Crivelari, now with São Paulo. A repeat on Saturday would take this final to a shootout.
On 4 December 2021, São Paulo edged the Paulista final 1-0 at Morumbis, but Corinthians overturned the deficit in the return game to lift the trophy.
In 2024 the Majestoso was the Brasileiro final, and on 15 September Corinthians won 3-1 at Morumbis through Vic Albuquerque, twice, and Millene, then sealed the title in the second leg. Replicating 3-1 this weekend would secure the 2026 crown.
The most recent meeting there was on 15 March 2025, a 0-0 draw in the Supercopa Feminina final, which São Paulo won 4-3 on penalties.
After the Brasileiro, Corinthians turn to the Libertadores Feminina, facing Colo-Colo on 15 October at 17:00 at Estádio Casa Blanca in Quito, Ecuador, in Group A.
