Corinthians visit Portuguesa at Canindé in a one-off Campeonato Paulista quarter-final on Sunday at 20:30, with Dorival Júnior expected to make changes. The squad carry five absences and two doubts.

According to Meu Timao, three players remain in the medical department. Left-back Hugo is recovering from lateral meniscus surgery on his right knee, forward Kaio César is in physical transition after a right hamstring injury, and forward Yuri Alberto, who scored in the finals of Corinthians' last three title wins, has a left biceps femoris problem.

Beyond injuries, centre-back Cacá is unavailable as talks continue with Vitória. Midfielder José Martínez sustained an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee and, with his contract termination advanced, is not expected to feature again.

There are two doubts. Midfielder Matheus Pereira felt pain in his left thigh and was substituted against Athletico Paranaense, while Moroccan playmaker Zakaria Labyad has not played since November 2025 and requires careful management.

Dorival has two boosts, with midfielder Breno Bidon back from a left hamstring strain and already training, and Argentine left-back Fabrizio Angileri available after fitness reconditioning. No player is one caution from suspension, so any booking will not rule anyone out should Corinthians reach the semi-finals next weekend, between 28 February and one March.
