Corinthians see the next transfer window as an opportunity to make at least one sale and ease financial pressure. According to Meu Timao, a fan poll named goalkeeper Hugo Souza as the exit that would hurt most.
Souza topped the vote with 27.1 percent. Yuri Alberto and Breno Bidon shared second on 22.9 percent, ahead of Matheuzinho on 16.1 percent, André Luiz on 7.6 percent and Other on 3.4 percent. BBC Sport has reported that Arsenal are monitoring Bidon.
The 27-year-old first-choice goalkeeper has drawn interest this window. At the start of the season, Beşiktaş of Türkiye bid 10 million euros, around R$ 61.5 million at the time, which Corinthians rejected. He is contracted until 31 December 2029 and wears the number 1 shirt.
Alberto, 25, is among the club’s most valuable players and has publicly expressed a wish to return to European football in this window. His deal runs to July 2030 and he holds Italian citizenship, which would ease a move as he would not take a non-EU slot.
Bidon, a 21-year-old academy product who also has Italian citizenship, has attracted attention from PSV, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid and Barcelona. Arsenal have been tracking his situation, the report said. His contract runs until the end of 2029.
