Corinthians ran defensive-focused drills in Thursday’s penultimate training before Saturday’s Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino final second leg against São Paulo at Morumbis, kick-off 16:30.
According to Meu Timao, the morning began in the CT gym with physical work, then on the pitch coach Emily Lima oversaw a warm-up and defensive adjustments.
Emily will be able to call on centre-back Thaís Regina, back from suspension after missing the first leg at Neo Química Arena.
There is also hope for Érika’s return, with the defender managing partial sessions amid ongoing knee pain.
Midfielder Ana Vitória is in transition back to full training after an abdominal muscle injury. Full-back Tamires, who twisted her ankle in the first game, and playmaker Gabi Zanotti, withdrawn at half-time, have kept training and should be available.
Corinthians must win by two goals to lift the title. A one-goal victory would take the tie to penalties. Any other result hands the trophy to São Paulo.
