Corinthians forward Jaqueline will face an STJD hearing on Friday over her 26 May dismissal against Mixto, and could miss Saturday’s Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino final at Morumbis.
According to Meu Timao, she has been charged under Article 258, paragraph 2, item II of the CBJD for disrespecting the match officials.
She was sent off 23 minutes into the second half after protesting a yellow card for a foul. Referee Cássia França de Souza showed a straight red, with the match report stating Jaqueline gestured and used offensive language towards the official.
If found guilty, the penalty ranges from one to six matches. She has already served the automatic one-game ban in the following match against Vitória. A sanction of two games or more could jeopardise her involvement in the final against São Paulo at 16:30.
Under CBJD rules, suspensions take effect the day after the hearing, so any ban would apply from Saturday. Corinthians may seek a suspensive effect to keep Jaqueline eligible.
The case will be heard by the STJD’s third Disciplinary Commission in process 0704/2026, with Dr Rafael Bozzano as rapporteur. The session is scheduled to begin at 10:00.
