Deives, a Corinthians futsal icon, will be honoured at the 2026 Super Copa Gramado, with the pre-season tournament trophy set to carry his name.

According to Meu Timao, the former pivot spent 10 seasons across two spells, from 2015 to 2016 and 2018 to 2025, collecting 16 trophies across national and state competitions.

Across 246 official games for Corinthians, he scored 156 goals and supplied 24 assists. In 2025, his final season, he led the team with 25 goals and ranked second for assists with 24, featuring in 42 of 53 matches.

The organisers said he embodies Gaúcho roots, talent, leadership and a winning mentality that reflects the event’s character, and that naming the 2026 trophy after him honours tradition and an unforgettable, multi-title goalscorer.

Corinthians can now target the Troféu Deives after finishing runners-up in 2025, when Atlântico Erechim won the final.

Fernando Malafaia’s side open on five March at 20:00 against Carlos Barbosa, then face Praia Clube on six March at 21:00. All games will be played at Ginásio Perinão in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul.

After these warm-ups, Corinthians have a busy 2026 with the Campeonato Paulista, Liga Nacional de Futsal and Copa LNF, and there is a possibility of hosting the Libertadores de Futsal in the second half as the host representative.
