Memphis Depay scored his first goal of 2026 in Corinthians' 1-1 draw at Santos on Sunday, making him their 14th different scorer this year.

The No 10 ended his longest barren run for the club by opening the scoring at Vila Belmiro. From a counter started by André, he latched on to Kaio César's through ball, beat two defenders and placed a shot into the left corner past Gabriel Brazão.

He is among the one-goal group in 2026, with André Luiz, Breno Bidon and Gabriel Paulista on two apiece. Yuri Alberto leads the chart with three in nine appearances.

Until now he had only one assist, for Kayke in the Paulistão win over Capivariano. He had gone 10 games without scoring, his previous goal coming in December during the club's fourth Copa do Brasil title win over Vasco da Gama.

Depay was second-top scorer last year with 12, and led the team with 10 assists. He will look to add to his tally on Thursday when Corinthians visit Chapecoense at 21:30 at Arena Condá in the seventh round of the Brasileirão.
