Corinthians beat Bahia 1-0 at Neo Química Arena to book a place in the Brasileirão Feminino final, their fifth straight victory and the club’s longest winning run of the year.

The current streak began on 26 August with a 6-2 win over Taubaté in the Paulistão. It continued through the national knockout rounds with 1-0 at Arena Independência and 3-1 at Canindé against Cruzeiro, then 1-0 over Bahia at Arena Fonte Nova and again in Itaquera.

It surpasses the four-game burst between April and May, which featured an 8-0 win over América of Mexico in the United States to take third at the Teal Rising Cup. Back home, Corinthians beat Juventude 1-0, Ferroviária 3-1 and Grêmio 2-0 in the league.

The last five-win sequence before this came in August 2025 under Lucas Piccinato, with victories over Bahia twice, plus Ferroviária, Realidade Jovem and São Paulo.

Having won both legs of the semi-final, the Brabas advanced to face São Paulo, who knocked out Flamengo. The first leg is scheduled for Saturday at 16:30, venue to be confirmed. Corinthians will host the opener thanks to a superior campaign to their rivals.
