Corinthians hit with new transfer ban as squad trains and vice-president’s defence challenges prosecutor

Corinthians have been hit with a new transfer ban after a missed payment, as the squad continue preparations and a legal move targets a prosecutor.

According to Meu Timao, the sanction stems from a delay in paying the fifth instalment of an agreement formalised at the Câmara Nacional de Resolução de Disputas, CNRD.

The team completed another week of work at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava.

Their focus remains on the restart of official competitions, scheduled for next Thursday.

Meanwhile, the defence of Armando Mendonça, the club’s vice-president, filed an exception of suspicion seeking the removal of prosecutor Cássio Conserino from the case.
