Corinthians host Brasília aiming to end losing streak in the NBB

On the evening of this Friday (12th), Corinthians takes to the court for the 13th game in the current season of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). After their stint in the interior of São Paulo, Timão faces Brasília at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium, starting at 8 PM (Brasília time).

After building a streak of six consecutive victories, the team led by Jece Leite hit a roadblock when visiting Sesi Franca. In the following round, again away from home, Corinthians started strong against Bauru Basket but suffered a comeback, maintaining the seventh position in the standings.

Probable Lineups

Despite the poor streak, Jece Leite is unlikely to give up the starting team, especially due to the positive starts in the losses. Therefore, the starting five should consist of Elinho, Elyjah Clark, Davaunta Thomas (Munford), Victão, and Gabriel Novaes (Lucas Cauê).

In addition to the Fiel being able to attend the gym to support the games in person, the NBB will also have two options to watch from afar. The game will be broadcast on ESPN, a closed television channel, and Disney+, a streaming service.

After facing the team from the federal capital, Corinthians stays at home to host Rio Claro, a club from the interior of São Paulo state. The game will take place next Monday, starting at 8 PM, at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium.
