Corinthians host Santos at Estádio do Canindé on Sunday at 16:00 in the 15th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino. Emily Lima's side are protecting first place.
In Meu Timao's reporting, the clássico forms part of a push to remain at the summit. The run stands at three league wins, starting on 25 May with a 4-1 defeat of Mixto at Canindé. They then beat Vitória 4-0 at the same venue on 26 July, before Monday's 1-0 win over Flamengo at Estádio Luso-Brasileiro.
Corinthians have 34 points, two ahead of Palmeiras and São Paulo, with São Paulo still to play Red Bull Bragantino this round. They have already sealed a quarter-final place and a top-four finish, which ensures home advantage in the first knockout tie. Attention now turns to staying out in front.
Midfielder Dayana Rodríguez is suspended after being sent off in the last match. There is also doubt over goalkeeper Lelê, who is in physical transition after recovering from a posterior right thigh tendinopathy in July.
A probable XI is Nicole Ramos in goal, then Ivana Fuso, Thaís Regina, Thais Ferreira and Tamires, with Duda Sampaio, Andressa Alves and Vic Albuquerque in midfield, and a front line of Jaqueline, Jhonson and Gabi Zanotti.
The CBF has appointed Francielly Fernanda Lima de Castro of Minas Gerais as referee. Veridiana Contiliani Bisco and Anna Beatriz Scagnolato are assistants, with Talita Ximenes de Freitas as fourth official. There will be no VAR.
The match will be shown live exclusively on SporTV, the Grupo Globo subscription channel.
