Corinthians have entered a free week after a 1-0 semi-final loss to Novorizontino on Saturday at Estádio Doutor Jorge Ismael de Biasi, Novo Horizonte.

According to Meu Timao, most of the squad were given Sunday and Monday off, while the medical team at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava stayed open for treatment and post-match checks.

Dorival Júnior’s staff resume training on Tuesday afternoon, beginning preparation for Coritiba on 11 March at 21:30 at Neo Química Arena. Kaio César should rejoin after a right hamstring injury.

It will be the first full training week since pre-season began on the third of January. A Supercopa do Brasil triumph over Flamengo by 2-0 left them playing 15 times in 48 days.

In the Brasileirão they sit third with seven points from four games, and could go top if they beat Coritiba and Palmeiras and São Paulo both lose to Vasco da Gama and Chapecoense respectively.

Left-back Hugo Farias is recovering from arthroscopy on his right knee. Midfielder Matheus Pereira and forward Yuri Alberto have grade two injuries to the left biceps femoris.

Goalkeeper Felipe Longo, deputy to Hugo Souza, sprained a ligament in his right elbow in training and should be available in the coming days. There had been internal hope he might have been listed for a potential Paulistão final.

The club are also working on the conditioning of Zakaria Labyad, who has not played since 2025. Corinthians await the arrival of João Ricardo and Jesse Lingard, who are also building fitness to return.
