This Sunday (23), Corinthians returns to the field for the Brazilian Championship. In a match valid for the 35th round of the competition, which is already in its final stretch, the Alvinegro will travel to Minas Gerais to face Cruzeiro at Mineirão, at 8:30 PM (Brasília time). The team's preparation was completed this Saturday (22), with the last training session focused on the match, which is very important for the team to keep climbing the table.

Right after the end of the activities, goalkeeper Felipe Longo spoke to Corinthians TV. In the video, published on the club's social media, the young player revealed his expectations for the duel, in which he is expected to be the Alvinegro's goalkeeper, since Hugo Souza is still recovering from a thigh injury.

“The expectation is very good. We are coming off a great victory in the Classic (Majestoso). The group is confident, we have been working very well. And this FIFA date was very important for us to fix some things, to organize others, and we are very confident for tomorrow's match.”

Finally, he also anticipated the difficulty of facing Cruzeiro at their home. “We know that Cruzeiro is a very organized team, that has been having a very good Brazilian Championship. It's a very tough game to play there, but we have our ways, we know what needs to be done and with a lot of will, with a lot of grit, we are going to have a great match tomorrow,” he stated.
