Corinthians' World Cup break has brought updates on João Pedro Tchoca, Cacá and a Gaviões da Fiel call concerning a senior club figure.

Tchoca has been working at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava during the pause as he recovers from inguinal hernia surgery. According to Meu Timao, he has used the break to focus on his rehabilitation.

He has also shared images of his sessions on social media.

Another defender active during the break is Cacá, on loan from Corinthians to Vitória. He played on Saturday in the Copa Nordeste final, which the Bahia club won 2-1 against Fortaleza.

Away from the pitch, Gaviões da Fiel published a statement calling for the removal of Corinthians' current second vice-president, Armando Mendonça. He is being investigated as a possible participant in a scandal over the misappropriation of the club's Nike sports materials.
