Corinthians learn details of the 2026 Liga Nacional de Futsal schedule

Corinthians Futsal already knows when it will begin its journey in the 2026 National Futsal League. Runners-up in the last edition, Timão will debut on March 28, at 6:30 PM (Brasília time), against Joinville, at the Cau Hansen Gymnasium.

The new season will feature changes to the format. Unlike previous years, the number of participants has been reduced from 24 to 16 teams, who will face each other in a single round in the first phase. In addition, the calendar will also include the LNF Cup, a tournament that will bring together elite clubs and LNF Silver, considered the access division. All matches will be broadcast on LNFTV, on YouTube.

Corinthians’ first derby will take place right in the second round. On April 3, at 8:00 PM, the team faces Magnus Futsal at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium. The match against Jaraguá Futsal, the current champions of the competition, is scheduled for the fifth round, on May 6, at 8:00 PM, at Arena Jaraguá. The last match of the qualifying phase will be against Pato Futsal, on August 8, at 7:00 PM, at Parque São Jorge.

The regulations stipulate that the top four teams will advance directly to the quarterfinals. Teams ranked between fifth and 12th place will compete in playoffs to determine the remaining spots. Teams finishing in 15th and 16th place will be relegated. The 14th-placed team, meanwhile, will play a relegation playoff against the third-placed team from LNF Silver.

Two-time National League champions, Corinthians returned to the final in 2025. After finishing the initial phase in sixth place, the team led by Fernando Malafaia eliminated Carlos Barbosa, Magnus, and Campo Mourão Futsal in the knockout stage to reach the final. In the final, they drew the first match 3-3 and were then defeated 3-0 by Jaraguá.

The alvinegro squad for 2026 was officially presented this Tuesday, at an event held at Neo Química Arena. Before their LNF debut, Timão will take the court on March 5, against Carlos Barbosa, in the group stage of the Super Copa Gramado.
