Corinthians likely XI, new sponsor and fitness updates before Peñarol | OneFootball

Corinthians have finalised preparations to face Peñarol in the Copa Libertadores on Thursday, unveiling a new sponsor and providing key fitness updates.

According to Meu Timao, the likely line-up features Hugo Souza in goal and a defence of Matheuzinho, with Pedro Milans an option, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique and Fabrizio Angileri. Midfield options are Raniele, Breno Bidon or Allan, André Luiz and Rodrigo Garro or Dieguinho. Up front it is Kaio César or Jesse Lingard with Yuri Alberto or Pedro Raul.

The club have added The Black Tools, a Brazilian tools and utilities brand, as a new sponsor. The logo will appear on the back of the men's team shorts until the end of the 2026 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Memphis Depay trained fully with the squad on Wednesday. Left-back Matheus Bidu sustained a sprain to his left ankle.

Final selection remains to be confirmed, with places in several positions still open.
