Corinthians will be without Gabriel Paulista and Raniele against Chapecoense on Sunday six September after both reached three yellow cards in the defeat by Santos. According to Meu Timao, the pair are suspended for accumulation.
Paulista was booked on 30 minutes for a foul on Gabriel Bontempo, and Santos scored soon after. Raniele saw yellow at 48 minutes following a clash with Lucas Veríssimo.
They join a lengthy absentee list, with André Carrillo rested for load management and Jesse Lingard out with a viral illness. In defence, André Ramalho has labyrinthitis. In midfield, André Luiz has a grade 2 right thigh injury and Zakaria Labyad has meniscus damage plus a ruptured left ACL, ending his season.
Up front, Yuri Alberto has a grade 2 injury in his right thigh, and after good progress felt pain in Thursday's session and was held back. Vitinho is rehabbing left knee meniscus surgery, while Kayke will not play again in 2026 after an ACL rupture in April.
Fernando Diniz should have Breno Bidon back after he served a one-match ban for his third yellow against Coritiba. The result made it three straight league defeats, last seen in 2018. Corinthians remain on 32 points from 25 games and stay 10th, missing a chance to close on the Libertadores places.
The squad now have a full week to prepare. The Chapecoense match is set for 19:30 at Neo Química Arena in round 26 of the Brasileirão.
