Corinthians will miss the Supercopa Feminina for the first time after finishing runners-up in the Brasileirão Feminino. The match at the start of 2027 is set to pit São Paulo, the current national champions, against the 2026 Copa do Brasil winners.

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians are already out of the Copa do Brasil, yet a slim possibility remains. São Paulo would need to win that trophy as well, which would pass the spare Supercopa berth to the Brasileirão runners-up.

The Supercopa Feminina joined the national calendar in 2022, and Corinthians featured in every edition until now. They lifted the title in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

They then finished second in 2025, losing to São Paulo on penalties, and again in 2026, beaten by Palmeiras on penalties.

From 2026 the format changed as the Copa do Brasil Feminina returned after being inactive since 2016. The CBF moved to a champions-only model, similar to the men's competition.

Without the Supercopa, Corinthians also forgo the prize money. In 2026 Palmeiras earned R$ one million for the trophy, while Corinthians received R$ 600,000 as runners-up.
