Corinthians saw their Morumbis record dip after a 1-1 draw with São Paulo on Saturday, a result that left them runners-up in the Brasileiro Feminino. It was their second consecutive stalemate at the ground.
According to Meu Timao, the club's recent run at Morumbis has dipped. Their five trips now read two wins, two draws and one defeat, a 53.3% return.
The first meeting there came in the 2019 Paulistão final first leg, won 1-0 by the visitors through Giovanna Crivelari. Corinthians then won the return and took the State title.
In 2021, São Paulo replied by taking the first leg of the Paulistão final 1-0, Mika scoring the only goal. Corinthians prevailed 3-1 in the second leg to lift another trophy.
The sides met again in the 2024 Brasileiro final. Morumbis hosted the first leg and Corinthians won 3-1. The return at Neo Química Arena brought another victory and a 44,529 crowd, now the second biggest for a women's club match in Brazil.
In 2025, the Supercopa final finished 0-0 at Morumbis, São Paulo claimed the trophy on penalties. The official match result is recorded as a draw.
Corinthians still have the edge on goals at the venue, five scored and three conceded.
They now enter the FIFA international window before their Libertadores group-stage debut, set for 15 at 17:00 in Ecuador against Colo-Colo of Chile.
