Corinthians name 25-man squad for Cruzeiro clash, four missing

This Sunday (23), Corinthians returns to the field for the Brazilian Championship. In a match valid for the 35th round of the competition, which is already in its final stretch, the Alvinegro faces Cruzeiro at Mineirão, at 8:30 PM (Brasília time). The squad traveling to Minas Gerais, however, has some important absences that could be missed by coach Dorival Júnior in the match.

One of the absences is forward Memphis, who suffered a sprain in his left knee during the Majestoso last Thursday (20) and, after being examined, was found to have a bone edema. Another absence is left-back Matheus Bidu, who felt pain in his right knee after the derby and didn't even train this Saturday (22).

Goalkeeper Hugo Souza will also not be able to play for the Alvinegro, as he is still recovering from a muscle injury in his left thigh. Finally, midfielder Maycon will also not be available to the coaching staff, as he continues to treat tendinopathy in his right knee. On the other hand, two returns are confirmed: midfielder Rodrigo Garro is back from suspension and defensive midfielder Raniele has completed his physical transition.
