Corinthians name line-up to face São Paulo in 2026 Paulistão round 3

Corinthians will host São Paulo this Sunday afternoon (18th) at 4:00 PM (Brasília time), in a match valid for the third round of the first phase of the 2026 Paulista Championship, at the Neo Química Arena. An hour before the start of the Majestic, coach Dorival Júnior has defined the starting lineup that will take the field.

For the Majestic, the coaching staff could not count on: José Martínez (still in Venezuela awaiting the reissuance of his passport to return to Brazil), midfielder Rodrigo Garro (recovering from surgery on his left wrist), and forward Memphis Depay (working on physical conditioning).

In light of this, coach Dorival Júnior chose the following team to start the match: Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique, and Matheus Bidu; Raniele, André Carrillo, André, and Breno Bidon; Kayke and Yuri Alberto.

The bench options include: Felipe Longo, Gabriel Paulista, João Vitor ‘Jacaré’, Hugo Farias, Luiz Gustavo Bahia, Charles, João Pedro Thoca, Matheus Pereira, Gui Negão, Pedro Raul, Vitinho, and Dieguinho.

After defeating Ponte Preta in Itaquera in the competition's debut, Corinthians suffered a 3-0 loss to Red Bull Bragantino at Cícero de Souza Marques last midweek. The rival, in turn, has the same points but is at a disadvantage in goal difference (zero against -2) and comes from a 1-0 victory over São Bernardo at Morumbis last Thursday (15th).

After facing São Paulo at home this Sunday, Corinthians remains focused on the Paulista Championship. Next Thursday (22nd), at 7:30 PM (Brasília time), the Alvinegro will visit Santos at Vila Belmiro for the fourth round of the state championship's first phase.
