Corinthians nominated in six categories at Prêmio Confut FutebolCard 2026

Corinthians have been nominated in six categories at Prêmio Confut FutebolCard 2026, which recognises management, marketing, finance and innovation in South American football. According to Meu Timao, the prize spans 34 categories.
One nod is for social, sustainability and inclusion with “Não tem lugar para o racismo”, created after a seat was removed at Neo Química Arena following racist abuse of Palmeiras goalkeeper Carlos Miguel. Rivals are Internacional’s Academia do Povo and Grêmio’s Camarote Espectro Azul.
Corinthians are finalists for best advertising campaign with “Torça como um Corinthiano”, run with Esportes da Sorte to reconnect the public with the Seleção. Players wore the slogan on shirts, it ran on LED boards, and hand banners and a giant flag featured. Opponents are Brahma’s Tá liberado Acreditar and Mercado Livre’s VAR + Vê aí Ronaldo.
In best licensing department, Corinthians face Flamengo and Argentina’s Boca Juniors. They are also finalists for best women’s football project with Chile’s Colo-Colo and Colombia’s Deportivo Cali.
Director Iris Sesso is shortlisted for professional of women’s football, alongside Nuéli Silveira of Ferroviária and Eldy Vanessa Alipio García of Deportivo Cali. In professional of communications, Olavo Guerra is nominated with Flávia de Justa of Flamengo and Santiago Carreras of Boca Juniors.
All nominees were evaluated by industry specialists. The public vote counts for one third, expert assessment makes up the remaining two thirds. The awards run from eight to 10 September at the Grand Hyatt in Rio de Janeiro.
